Weather plugin problems

Hi,

Sorry for the endless questions. I am having trouble getting the weather 
plugin to work. I checked the archives for similar problems but it 
appears that most previous problems have been to do with the plugin 
causing the panel to crash.

My problem is that when I enter my location code from weather.com, the 
plugin simply says it "Cannot update weather data." My location (Hobart, 
Australia) is ASXX0057. Entering it in the location field, as per the 
documentation, does not do the job. Could the problem be related to the 
fact that my internet traffic goes through a proxy? If so, is there any 
way I may tell the plugin about the proxy please?
