bad fonts since OS upgrade

I've created .Xdefault file in my home directory with the
following content:

Xft.hinting: 1
Xft.hintstyle: hintmedium
Xcursor*theme: redglass
XTerm*cursorColor: orange
XTerm*background: rgb:07/70/77
XTerm*foreground: rgb:C0/FF/C0
xterm*font: koi8x13
XTerm*SaveLines: 2048
-----------------------------

and it works for me.
I use ArchLinux either.
