I don't think the two are mutually exclusive.  In Opera, the F8 key
selects all in the address bar, but (sometimes annoyingly) doesn't copy
it to the X clipboard unless I manually click-and-drag over all the
text.  Would there be a way to keep the address bar text and not copy
the X clipboard?
