problems with xfce-mcs-manager-4.0.3

Hello xfce,

   I'm  trying  to  compile  xfce  4.0.3 for my Slackware 9.1, but I'm
   stuck with xfce-mcs-manager-4.0.3.

   When  I  run  "make"  (after  a  successful ./configure) I get this
   error, but I don't know how to solve:

   /usr/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so: undefined reference to 'XftDrawPicture'
   collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
   make[2]: *** [xfce-setting-show] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory '/tmp/xfce-4.0.3/src/xfce-mcs-manager-4.0.3/xfce-setting-show'
   make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
   make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/xfce-4.0.3/src/xfce-mcs-manager-4.0.3'
   make: *** [all] Error 2
