[jack at cletus jack]$ grep -r dubrovnik .xfce4/
.xfce4/settings/backdrop.xml:   <option name="path" type="string"
value="/home/jack/media/dubrovnik.jpg"/>


change the file, then run xfdesktop to refresh.
