I'm not sure if this is the same problem but I am current have a problem
with the xfs server crashing overnight with xfce 4.0.3 and fedora that
appears to exhibit the same symptoms hosed display and no input but I
can ssh in and restart the font server and carry on.. No help I'm afraid
but ??
