The other difference is that the 'xft' version provides for
anti-aliasing of fonts. That is the one that I downloaded, since AA
fonts look much better (to me) on my LCD panel display.
Also, FWIW, I noted posts on one of the Mozilla sites that indicates
some IP issues with some of the Firefox artwork. Thus only the
'official' tarballs and install files from Mozilla.org will include the
up to date Firefox icons, etc.
RPMS, etc. from yum/apt/etc repositories will (should) have the older
Firebird generation artwork or so it seems.
