Well Brian and the gang ... I didn't build the rest of xfce4 it was a slackpak off linux packages. I'm getting a new laptop sometime near the beginning of next week so ... I'll rebuild xfce4 from scratch when I'm building that box and see if that will fix it. Thanks a ton, Geoffrey
