Problem with Quit in menu

I do not have a problem with 4.0.5 and Quit.

I boot to init 3 and use Xtart to launch xfce.
Quit drops me cleaning back to init 3.

If you use a dm, gdm/kdm, can you try switching and see is the problem persist.
Also check your logs/xsession errors for anything that might be preventing the dm to shutdown cleanly.
