hi all-

garxfce4 0.3.0, the latest version of your favourite easy-to-use
ports-like installer for xfce4 has been released.

for those of you just joining us, garxfce4 is an installer based on the
GAR ports system. basically you unpack the small ~20kB tarball, cd into
a directory, type 'make install', go take a nap, and the installer will
download all the necessary source tarballs and compile and install them
in the proper order.

garxfce4 0.3.0 is based on the latest xfce4 release, 4.0.5. also
included is an optional 'bootstrap' directory containing download/build
scripts for some foundation libraries, such as gtk+ (2.4.0), libxml2,
libstartup-notification, and others.

for more information, check out the project page at:
http://kelnos.homelinux.org/xfce4/garxfce4.html
if you just want to get to the files, head over to:
http://xfce.org/~kelnos/xfce4/files/garxfce4/
or
http://kelnos.homelinux.org/xfce4/files/garxfce4/

as this isn't an "official" distribution of xfce4, please direct all
questions about the build procedure to me (or this list, making sure to
mention that you're using garxfce4). _please_ have a look at the
toplevel README before asking the obvious questions.
