The free version is ok, but lacks the database support that is really 
great. You will be able to get a feel for it. Make sure you are running 
a compatible version of linux (I don't know about Slackware, but I'd 
give it a shot, it's free) They usually support only certain version of 
redhat, suse, and something I can't recall, but I've run it on Libranet, 
a debian distro. There is a test program available, I think.

The pascal support is great if you can get used to pascal. It's much 
faster than C++.
