Can't Start xfwm4

Jasper, Olivier, and Joe,

OK, we're definitely making progress. But, Jasper, I have a question for you
about the cp /etc/xfce4/menu.xml ~/.xfce4/menu.xml that you suggested I
perform so as to add the capability of being able to exit X. I have no such
file or directory /etc/xfce4/menu.xml. You know, I even checked the full
install of the xfce4 DE that I have on another machine and it shows no such
file or directory either. So I wonder if my distro is missing some package
needed both for the full xfce4 install and what we're trying to achieve in
this case with just the desktop. What package generates /etc/xfce4/menu.xml?
If we have it, I'll install it from our respository.

Anyway, as I mentioned, were making progress. Thanks to you, Joe and
Olivier.

John Lowell
