RedHat 9, Gnome Apps, GTK2

Where did you get your RPM's from? Could they have been 
poorly/incorrectly created? I am running XFce-4 on RH 9 (using 'gdm' 
to run from boot-up) without any GTK2 problems.

I saw that same post, but in my case, neither of my two RH 9 
workstations suffered any of your problems. I keep them up-to-date 
with RH and I even installed from source three of the plug-ins 
available for the XFce-4 panel without post-installation problems. 

I wish I could help you, but at least I can tell you that not all Red 
Hat 9 users are having your problems.
