Xfce4 problem on RedHat 9

I installed Xfce4 on my RedHat Linux 9 system.
Also I have the following:

When I try to launch anything from the Applications sections in xffm,
xffm exits without executing the application and generates the following
error messages.

(xffm:18641): GLib-CRITICAL **: file gstrfuncs.c: line 2079
(g_strchug):assertion `string != NULL' failed

(xffm:18641): GLib-CRITICAL **: file gstrfuncs.c: line 2094
(g_strchomp): assertion `string != NULL' failed
xffm: signal 11 received. Cleaning up before exiting


Does anybody had the same problem? Any solution?
