Installing from sources on redHat 9

Hi guys,

I try to install xfce4 on my RH9 linux box but I feel stupid already. i've
downloaded a package with all the tarballs and follow the Installing
instructions at www.xfce.org, where it is said that:

"Building the packages should be a simple matter of unpacking the tarballs
and, from the top source directory, type :
 ./configure && make && make install

 in the module directories.

 Build order:

   1. libxfce4util
   2. libxfcegui4
   3. libxfce4mcs
   4. xfce-mcs-manager
   5. all other modules (you have to install xfce4 panel before compiling
 panel plugins).
"
SO that's what I do: I unpack and compile and install libxfce4util, the
same with libxfcegui4 and so until xfce-mcs-manager.

Problem is that I can NOt find anywhere the startxfce4 command, and so I
can not launch the system.

Could somebody tell me what I am doing wrong, and what is the right
procedure to install from sources?

Thanks,

Ferran.
