Hey,
I want to upgrade to the newer version as well, but I installed the
original from source. I installed from source because some of the
goodies where only available from source instead of rpm. If I install
the newer rpms will I have to uninstall the old versions from source? I
really don't know what is the best way to proceed. I would like to go
to rpms, but should I bother? They just seem easier to manage.
Thanks.....hope I was clear.
