control-alt-delete

I installed from rpms.  I guess what you are suggesting that I uninstall
the rpm and compile the xfce4-panel-4.0.1.tar.gz or apply the patch to the
old xfce4-panel and recompile.  I don't suppose there is some way to apply
the patch without uninstalling the xfce4-panel rpm?

sorry for being a lazy rpm user, but I like to keep my system as rpm
based as possible (easier to manage stuff that way).
