How to add Keyboard layout switcher in xfce4 panel

Hi all,
  I want to know whether we can add a keyboard layout switching button to
  xfce4 panel so that each time we click on it the next keyboard layout
  in the list appears (using setxkbmap)? We particularly need this kind
  of switcher in India because we wish to provide facility of typing in
  various scripts like Devanagari, Gujarati, Banglaa, Tamil etc. just by
  clicking a button.
