live cd with xfce4

I just tried out the new Morphix and it is very nice!  I had
some problems getting XFCE4 running in Knoppix, but here it
works out of the box.  One glitch: XFFM4 was not able to
show the contents of SMB directories.  It did not ask for
user name or password.  How is XFFM4 supposed to work with
SMB?
