weird mouse behavior in xfce4r2

Hi,
I just configured my 7-button optical scroll wheel mouse, so that it
works in KDE and Gnome. Not so in Xfce4. Scroll either doesn't work at
all, or it marks text instead. No function of buttons 6 and 7. None of
the mouse gestures work in MozillaFireball under xfce4. Is this a known
problem?
