Starting XFce with port 6000 closed

Hello, I usually start X from the cmd line and have startx aliased to;
startx='startx -- -nolisten tcp'

so that X is not listening on port 6000. But to start XFce I need to
use the startxfce4 script, and this has the X port open. How can I shut
this down? Thanks.
