	Maybe it's a good time to run down what the whole Alpha/Beta thing is
supposed to mean...

Alpha - This means that development has started.  API's (and whole
applications) are in a state of flux and could change daily if not
hourly.  It's likely nothing actually works.

Beta - This means that development is nearing a state of stability but
still actively being worked.  Things are likely to work but there's no
guarantee.  Beta is normally reserved for bug-fixing and stress testing.

	xfce4 is somewhere in the middle of the two.  Parts of it are more
solid and stable than others.  If you break them down by module/system
then you'll see things that are very Alpha to things nearly release
ready.  The project as a whole is what I would call early Beta or late
Alpha.

	But then again, what the hell do I know...
