Using "Autostart"

Hi all

I am wanting to load some parameters so that they start automatically when 
Xfce begins. I am using XFce 3.8.18, and I believe that one loads the 
required values into ~/Desktop/Autostart to accomplish this. My question is 
probably a no brainer, but how would I go about ensuring that "kxkb" is 
loaded each time I start up XFce?
