xfce clipboard app ?

First of all: Much praise to the xfce dev's for xfce4, it's a real thing
of beauty and I love using it.

The only thing I really miss though is a clipboard app, preferably one
that would run from the xfce panel as a plug-in. 

If anybody knows of such an app, please let me know - if such an app
does not exist yet, please point me in the right direction regarding
plug-in development and I'll write one myself.
