He means different versions of xfce4. If you get wrong module version
errors on a freshly compiled module this means the headers found during
compilation are from a different version than the binary that is being
run. This usually means there is an old installation of xfce4 in a
different prefix, e.g. one in /usr and one in /usr/local.
