Try
http://clevername.homeip.net/xfce4/rc2/xfce4-systemload-plugin-0.3.2-1mdk.i586.rpm
I just did "export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig" before
./configure and it built without a problem.
