Installing Plugins

Well, I can't figure it out. It looked like there could be three plugin
dirs in /usr/local/lib/xfce4: plugins, panel-plugins, and mcs-plugins.
Even though the following are in panel-plugins:
libsystemload.a
libsystemload.la
libsystemload.so
that plugin still doesn't show up in the Add list.

And while I'm at it, how do you enable the eyes and mixer plugins?
