This is what I have done. I edited my .xinitrc file where I normally have: #exec icewm I changed it to #exec xfce.
I then startx and xfce loads. My problem is this, When I open my email client or browser, I no longer have the minimize, maximize or close x at the top of the window. I cannot change windoow, I have to go to file, exit to close the window so I can view any other open window....why is this so? Another thing is to change my desktop from 1 to 2 or 3 or 4...this does not work.

I realize everyone is working on xfce4 but if I want to gdt xfce3 running before I go to 4.
