xftree crashes when creating a new folder

I have xfce-3.8.18 (compiled from CVS) running
 under Linux Mandrake 8.2. I first solved this problem 
by erasing my .xfce directory. But now I have again the same 
problem with xftree (and that is really annoying). I have 
another computer, with same OS and same version of xfce, 
and I do not have any single problem with xftree with this other 
machine. 
Any idea how to solve this problem ?
