Uncomment the following in $HOME/.xinitrc

# xset +fp "/usr/share/xfce/cursors"

I seem to recall a setting in XFCE that let you press a button
to get a little visual that pointed drew attention to where the
cursor was, but I can't find it now. Is "AnimateWin On" in xfwmrc
it?
