Mandrake 8.2beta4 and XFce

Okay this is ridiculous......

Mandrake beta4 still has the same permission problem 
with the default xfce install..."cannot create file"

I understand one of the main kde packagers for mandrakesoft also packages
XFce unless this has changed recently...Obviously if this is true then the
poor fellow must rarely have any time to do anything with xfce due to the
massive flux and size of kde...

Is their anyone on this list with the competence to package for mandrakesoft and get this litany of screwups taken care of or has this
already been tried and their implementation is just plain faulty and 
cannot be changed due to their way of doing things !!?? 
I have used Mandrake for several years and XFce for longer so I must
admit if they continue to refuse to recognize the qualtiy of the WM they
keep "jerking around" with their rpm implementation I may be led to 
other distos again !!?

Its a good thing I am not a conspiracy theorist or one might wonder if
they are casually sabatoging XFce's use by new users through neglect...

Mandrake 8.2rc1 has just been released..I wonder if this has been fixed.?
