'ical' calendar does not reincarnate

Hi,

I'm using xfce-3.8.18-1 with session manager enabled. I started 'ical'
calendar program, exited xfce, entered it again but there is no
'ical' any more. I've checked xfwm-session file to find that
there is an entry for 'ical' but it lacks [WM_COMMAND] line.

Is it something wrong on the app (ical) side, or rather xfce?
Is it safe to put 'ical' invocation into ~/.xfce/xinitrc or
~/Desktop/Autostart (while having this orphan xfwm-session entry)?
