I have supplied a patch to integrate Linux Mandrake's menu based on .desktop files. Jasper would integrate it later from what he tells me in #xfce (when he will have time). In fact, even if it's called "Mandrake menu", setting a environment variable will allows to integrate ANY directory's menus based on .desktop files. 

Wait and see !
