Well, OK, but that's not exactly intuitive for the new XFce user
either.  The .deb package is obviously screwed up in some way.  I'll let
the maintainer know of my experience.

I've never encountered this before because on my most-used machine, I do
my own compilation of the latest, greatest! :)
