xfce colours

Hello again chaps,

Long time, no read :-)

Ok, I've asked this before. Don't get me wrong , I read my
T*Fs :-) but this one is beyond me.

I really like the coloured workspace buttons but I can't seem
to get anymore. Eventhou I compile from sources and type
"--enable-old-style" xfce still comes up with the same
(greyish) colours on the workspace buttons.

Does anyone know why is this happening.

Also,

Something I asked on comp.os.linux.x and no-one bothered to answer.
X kicks me out after ten minutes or so. I open a session either
on KDE or XFce (which is my preferred GUI) but after ten minutes
it kicks me out. Has anyone stumbled upon this ?
