Nope. Xfce is more akin to CDE than to windoze, unlike gnome or kde.

Nope. Again, that's not CDE. There has been talk about an applet swallower.

Edit your xfwmrc file (copy the default from /etc/X11/xfce) in the place whre
MarginR is specified.
