Hi,

*buntu just released a LTS version. Being one of the most popular
distribution out there Xfce seem a little late with releasing a new 4.6.x.

Hopefully some one is able to push Canonical to update Xubuntu with
the package 4.6.x. But from my experience from the past with the
Xubuntu team I doubt.
