[Xfce-i18n] Question on "The tray manager lost selection" in xfce-panel

Hi,

while updating the translation of the xfce-panel I came across the
string "The tray manager lost selection". I've have no idea what this
means, also not after looking at the code. It seems to happen when a X
event message arrives but still no idea what this means and how to
translate best.
