I am squirming with shame for not being creative. I hope you all will
forgive and bear my onslought once more. On my defence I am just a lowly
translator whos leaving has not much to do with high end computing. (not
very convincing excuse I know!!!! :-))

Tried to checkout 4.4 with the fallowing command and result. I got a
directory "4.4-po" with some more directories but no po files or
po-directories in it.

$ svn checkout http://svn.xfce.org/svn/xfce/modules/4.4-po

Fetching external item into '4.4-po/libexo/po'
svn: URL 'http://svn.xfce.org/svn/xfce/libexo/branches/xfce_4_4/po' refers
to a
file, not a directory
