Dear translators,

now that Xfce 4.4 has been released, we have found out that a lot of
translations are not complete and still lack the translation of the
existing documentation, even though it is old, it's not exactly what we
can call outdated. The following languages have translations done for
the whole core packages:

   * Catalan (ca)
   * Czech (cs)
   * German (de)
   * French (fr)
   * Polish (pl)

As you can see, this list is not even a quarter of the amount of
languages you can find on the statistics page
http://i18n.xfce.org/stats/index.php?mode=2. These 5 languages have all
the core packages from Xfce 4.4 translated.

To find out what your language is up to, you can search for it in the
branches 4.4 section of the statistics page
http://i18n.xfce.org/stats/index.php?mode=2#br-xfce_4_4. This section
does not include libexo, terminal and thunar, for these you will still,
for the moment, have to translate in trunk.

There are new scripts available in http://i18n.xfce.org/wiki/svn_howto.
The scripts are used to translate in the branch version of Xfce 4.4
which will become the next 4.4.x release. The focus on translations,
since the release, has moved from trunk to branches, this means that the
current 4.4 version is more important now than trunk is.

In the hope to see your translations come in, the whole Xfce team would
like to thank all of you for your great work.

Best regards,
The Xfce i18n team.
