Yes, in trunk, auto-generated files were removed. I know your trouble
now clearly, you use KBabel and got files from 4.2-po/trunk-po module,
or checkout-po.sh, right?

Benedikt, how do you think adding POT files as they used to be? Without
POT files, a certain translator must be in trouble when they try to
create initial PO file (even without KBabel).
