I have not been experiencing this bug myself and now running the patched code.

Comment 24 (automatically generated on commit) has a timestamp of Sun Apr 12
20:23:56 UTC 2020, so that's when I first committed it to the head branch of
the ports tree.

The commit was also merged to the "quarterly" branch shortly later at Sun Apr
12 20:47:19 UTC 2020, so by a few days at most after that all FreeBSD users
updating their ports/packages are using the patched version.
