That was somewhat effective.

Right-clicking the desktop menu no longer triggers a lag.
But I notice that switching tabs in xfce4-terminal still causes lag. This is
both by clicking on the tab in the tab bar and by Alt+2.
This happens only when the "Enable input feedback sounds" is checked.
