I can reproduce the wall of GtK-CRITICALs, and I can confirm that the patch
fixes them.

Excellent research Reuben! Well done, thanks alot for that fix !

I guess thunar_tree_model_node_insert_dummy calls "gtk_tree_model_row_inserted"
on a path/iter which was not  inserted to the tree-model yet.

It would be great if somebody who experienced a crash could as well test the
patch, in order to check if the crash got fixed with it !

... after that I guess it is time for me to release thunar 1.8.13  ;)
