Hi, 

not really, 'cause obviously it'll show the items in inverted order:

folder_3
folder_2
folder_1
.hidden_folder_3
.hidden_folder_2
.hidden_folder_1
file_3
file_2
file_1
.hidden_file_3
.hidden_file_2
.hidden_file_1

...causing even more confusion. So this is not a solution IMHO.
Anyway, thanks for your suggestion.
