Neither does it work for "xfdesktop -> foreign location other than thunar
1.8.5". This means that thunar and xfdesktop share the same problem.

The function gdk_drag_context_set_suggested_action() is not available in GTK3
anymore. It is used in the thunar 1.6 code to set the desired drop action.
