Hi, think I figured it out and might be related to another Thunar bug.

No, the home directory is just a standard home directory and not mounted.

We are using MS Remote Desktop to get onto the Ubuntu system using xrdp and it
mounts a thin client directory to the home directory. This apparently is used
when you copy and paste files using MS RD/xrdp.

My understanding of looking at other Thunar bugs is that it is not friendly
with mounted directories?

Currently having to use something else as Thunar is impossible to use with
this.
