First: I am shocked that this bug is totaly uncommented/untriaged for more then
two years. It is not about fixing - just triage!

I can reproduce that behaviour, too.

Using Debian unstable (64bit) with xfce4 package version 4.12.3.

I deleted ~/.cache/sessions to be sure. The checkbox the opener here reported
is unchecked in my environment, too.

But after each logout the ~/.cache/sessions is recreated.
