            Bug ID: 13343
Summary: Rename dialog should trim initial/trailing whitespace
    Classification: Xfce
           Product: Thunar
           Version: 1.6.10
          Hardware: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: general
          Assignee: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
          Reporter: unhammer+dill at mm.st
        QA Contact: nick at xfce.org
CC: benny at xfce.org, hjudt at xfce.org
  Target Milestone: 1.8.0

When renaming folders, it's easy to end up with initial or trailing whitespace
by mistake, which is hard to notice when viewing files. Some apps (e.g.
Lightroom in Wine) fail to work with such paths. That's of course a bug in the
third party app, but OTOH initial/trailing whitespace is *very* unlikely to be
the intention of the user doing renaming. It'd be nice if Thunar's F2/Rename
dialog could simply trim any initial/trailing whitespace on hitting enter.
