Summary: hidden files & folders aren't accessible in file
                    selection dialog
           Product: Xfce
           Version: 4.2.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: Medium
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: xfce-bugs at xfce.org
        ReportedBy: cybercat83 at gmail.com

The dialog for selecting a file to open, or selecting a location for saving a
file, does not give the option of opening/saving from/to a hidden folder or file
(folders or files whose name begins with a dot).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. For example, form the panel: create a new launcher.
2. Click one of the "folder" buttons (for the icon or for the command).

Actual Results:
You can not select a file that is hidden or is inside a hidden folder.

Expected Results:
Preferably have an option of viewing/hiding hidden files and folders.

It is inconvenient not being able to save to a hidden directory. For example, in
Gimp, brushes should be saved to ~/.gimp-x.x/brushes/.
